Yoyo material

Each of the materials has its own specific properties. The wooden yoyo is a classic, more for collectors. Plastic is less stable, but nimble, durable and significantly cheaper. Metal ones are for more experienced yoyo players and also suitable for competitions. They are very stable but at the same time significantly more expensive.
